J. Rod and Peggy Applonie celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 14. They plan to have a family gathering in July at Luby Bay in Priest Lake, Idaho.

Their children are: Dene Pancheri and Roxanne DeCoria, Idaho Falls; Amy Beth Wise, Hayden, Idaho; Helen Wilker, San Diego; Eddie Applonie, Spanaway, Wash.; Stan Applonie, Colorado Springs; Angie Picard, Rapid City, S.D.; and Jackie Applonie, San Antonio.

The couple were married Feb. 14, 1958, in Logan, Utah. They have 33 grandchildren.
