The word is out: it’s addicting

Our Mixed Nuts item a few weeks ago, on IQ Traveler Challenge, found a lot of people eager to test their geography skills. That game, a puzzle to plant pins on a world map, is addictive and progressively challenging. It’s at travelpod.com/traveler- iq?40bf=eee8.

This week we’ll give wordsmiths an online game to test their chops — wordsandwich.com. Again, it’s almost too-basic but so simple you can’t help but continue trying to solve the puzzle.

The game asks you to find a five-letter word. The faster you guess it, the more points you score. The screen allows you to narrow the alphabetic choice until you get the word.
