Andrew Kittredge scored three runs and went 4 for 4 with a home run for the Saxons.
Elsewhere, Shadle Park’s Danny Turney hit a bases-loaded single to break a tie in the fifth inning for a 3-1 win over Rogers (2-2). Steve Seedall had two doubles and an RBI for the Highlanders (1-2). … Mead’s game at Central Valley was rained out and rescheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday.
“Brothers Tim and Tom Kerr combined for six hits as host Lewiston (2-0) swept and Inland Empire League doubleheader from Lakeland (0-2, 0-2), 3-1 and 14-2. In the second contest, Tom went 2 for 3 with a triple and Tim had two doubles. … Sandpoint’s game at Lake City was rained out. No makeup date was set.

Delaney Zalud struck out 12 in the game for the Panthers (3-1). … Elsewhere, University (2-2) accumulated 22 hits, 12 of which were doubles, in a 20-4 victory over host Gonzaga Prep (2-3). … Games rained out included East Valley vs. Lewis and Clark at Hart Field, Shadle Park at Ferris and Rogers at Central Valley. The EV-LC and Rogers-CV games will be made up at 4 p.m. Monday.

East Valley (206) won the Pirate Open at Esmeralda Golf Course over Deer Park in a tiebreaker based on the team’s top-four individual scores. Corey Meyers of Deer Park shot a 3-over-par 73 to win medalist honors.
