TV’s best bets: Addison reappears on ‘Grey’s’
Tonight’s must-see
“Grey’s Anatomy,” 9 p.m., ABC. Last week’s episode left relationships in disarray. Derek has a warm (and, so far, chaste) relationship with Rose, a nurse who’s already in love. George, Erica and Cristina are scrambling for new lives, after broken relationships.
Into this chaotic setting comes Addison, who is Derek’s ex-wife and Mark’s ex-lover. She’s just there to perform surgery, but she’s soon bewildered by all the changes.
Tonight’s must-see II
“Carrier” finale, 8-10 p.m., KSPS and KUID. As the USS Nimitz ends its six-month deployment, sailors re-meet friends and family.
There is warmth, joy and deep despair. Strong people weep; a well-made series ends with bursts of emotion.
Other choices include
“Ugly Betty,” 8 p.m., ABC. Renee (Gabrielle Union) is growing increasingly delusional. Convinced that Betty is a rival for Daniel’s affection, she becomes dangerous.
“Survivor,” 8 p.m., CBS. After ousting Jason last week, the five women remain in control. The surviving guys, James and Erik, must scramble.
“My Name is Earl,” 8 p.m., NBC. Now that Earl is out of his coma, he’s convinced that karma wants him to be with Billie – if he can find her.
“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” 9 p.m., CBS. All of the victims have green blood. This strikes investigators as odd.
“Without a Trace,” 10:01 p.m., CBS. A lottery winner disappears after a camping trip.
“Lost,” 10:02 p.m., ABC. Last week, we saw the ferocity of Ben, who could summon up the smoke monster (or whatever it is) to kill his enemies. Now he, Locke and Hurley search for the mysterious cabin and instructions. Elsewhere, Jack turns sick; Julia and Kate must link to save him.
“ER,” 10:01 p.m., NBC. Kovac seems to give up on his relationship with Abby, but Pratt struggles to stay with Bettina.
