5th annual Wiener Dog Races - Annual event held at Pet Fest, May 31-June 1, to benefit dachshund rescue. Participants need not be club members to participate in any of our dog events. Meet in the third building to the left of the demo ring to pre-register your dogs all day May 31 at the rescue promotions booth. These races are for purebreds only. Bird Walk at Turnbull - Join Marian Frobe for a walk around the Pine Lakes area to see the ducks in their spring colors and to look and listen for returning songbirds. No experience is necessary in identifying birds. Bring binoculars, camera, water and a lunch, if you want to extend the day on your own. The walk usually concludes between 11 a.m. and noon, but there is more to explore on your own on the Auto Tour route or other walking trails. Registration requested.
