Southeast Spokane County Historical Society Meeting - Glenn Leitz, a well-known historian, will present the program on the 150th Anniversary of the cessation of the organized armed conflict between the settlers and Native Americans. Leitz will be covering the events that led up to battles at Steptoe, Rosalia, Four Lakes, Horse Slaughter Camp and finishing up with the activity at Smythe’s Ford that gave Hangman Creek its name.
