Alfred and Cecilia Van Winkle will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family gathering at their home on Saturday.

Hosts for the event will include their children: Mark Van Winkle and Rose Mary Guy, both of Spokane; Janice Korsmo, Redmond, Wash.; Phyllis Van Winkle, Puyallup, Wash.; Chris Lanouette, Battle Ground, Wash.; and Susan Kathan, Southworth, Wash.

The couple were married May 23, 1943, in Stockton, Calif. They have 13 grandchildren.
