Man arrested just after prison release
BOISE – A man fresh out of an Idaho prison was arrested on suspicion of robbing a Boise bank.
Robbie Crow had been released from prison Wednesday morning.
Police say he entered a DL Evans bank branch in south Boise just after 1 p.m., said he had a gun and demanded cash.
He left with an undisclosed amount.
After witnesses described the man, a pair of deputies arrested Crow, 46, at the Boise Towne Square Mall located near the bank, where he was discovered hiding inside a round rack of pants.
No gun was found.
Crow had been serving a two- to 12-year sentence for sexual battery of a minor out of Kootenai County since 2000 and had been taken earlier Wednesday by cab to an apartment.
He was to be on supervised release.
