Tran-Bentz

Misty Bentz and James Tran, both of Newport Beach, Calif., plan to marry Dec. 20.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Wayne and Nancy Bentz, Spokane. George and Tina Tran, Bothell, Wash., are the parents of the groom-to-be.

A graduate of the University of Washington and Ohio State University, Bentz is a post-doctoral researcher in astronomy at UC Irvine. The groom-to-be, who graduated from the University of Washington, is a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army reserve.

Williams-Wittkopf

Miranda Wittkopf and Christopher Williams, both of Spokane, plan to marry June 20.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Larry and Kristy Wittkopf, Spokane. The groom-to-be is the son of Harley and Lois Williams, Chattaroy.

A graduate of Mt. Spokane High School, Wittkopf works for Wittkopf Landscape Supplies. Williams is a graduate of Mt. Spokane and the Spokane Community College automotive program, and is employed at Wittkopf Landscape Supplies.

Kerwien-Conn

Stephanie Conn, Spokane Valley, and Scott Kerwien, Spokane, plan to marry in August.

Cheryl Conn and Al Conrad both of Spokane Valley are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Mitzi and Pete Kerwien, Camano Island, Wash.

Conn, who holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Whitworth University, works as a teacher in the Central Valley School District. Kerwien, who earned his undergraduate degree from Whitworth and graduate degree from George Fox University, is employed as a high school counselor in Medical Lake.
