Getting ready for a new Today

Today section readers will notice some changes starting this week.

On Thursdays, our “On the Wall” visual arts column joins the arts and culture lineup. We’ll also add listings of gallery exhibits and upcoming theater and classical music performances.

Movie and DVD reviews from the former 7 section move into Friday’s Today section, along with coverage of popular music and other nightlife. A special pullout guide, with the familiar 7 label, will offer a convenient roundup of the week’s movies and events.

The Home content that has been appearing in Friday’s section will move to Sunday, including the popular “Ask the Builder” and “Ask the Collector” columns.

We’re hoping to make this all as seamless as possible; please pardon any hiccups along the way as we fine-tune the details.
