‘Twilight’ sequel is a go

“Twilight” fans, rejoice: The sequel is on the way.

Summit Entertainment topped off a big weekend for its vampire flick by announcing that “New Moon” is a go.

With “Twilight” cleaning up at the box office – it was No. 1 over its opening weekend, hauling in $70.6 million – the green light on “New Moon” was a no-brainer.

“Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will return for “New Moon,” the second book in Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series.
