Jacklin Arts and Culture Center at the Old Church – Featuring 19 different wood artists displaying works of wildlife, bowls, furniture, decor, carvings and other interesting pieces and paintings by Jo Simpson. On display through Friday, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and by appointment at 405 Williams St. 457-8950.
Replicas of Egyptian Culture – On display through Oct. 15 at Post Falls Library, 821 N. Spokane St. Exhibit includes head wear and crowns of the Egyptian leaders, weapons, tools, swords, bows and arrows, toy board games of King Tut and clothing of the great pharaohs. Most of the collection is handmade by Bob Fletcher of Bayview. Mondays-Thursdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Fridays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, noon-5 p.m. 683-9299.

Cowboy Breakfast – Saturday, 8-11 a.m. at Old Pleasantview School, 18724 W. Riverview Drive. All-you-can-eat biscuit and sausage gravy and eggs. Presented by the Pleasantview Community Association. Proceeds go toward the restoration of the old Pleasantview School into a community center. $5/each, $15/family. 755-9802.
