Peters, McHenry earn designation

Spokane Association of REALTORS®

The Spokane Association of REALTORS® announces that Lori Peters, ABR, a Spokane REALTOR® with Windermere R.E./Valley since 2001; and Lara McHenry, ABR, a Spokane REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Northwest Group since 2004, have achieved new professional designation status. Both Peters and McHenry have been awarded the Accredited Buyer Representation (ABR) designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of the National Association of REALTORS.®

The educational requirements for the ABR designation include a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation, a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation, and demonstrated practical experience in the field of buyer representation. REBAC was founded in 1988 and currently has more than 43,000 members throughout the world.

Peters also completed her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in December 2007 and says she is working to complete the remaining classes for her Graduate REALTOR® Insitute (GRI) designation as well. Both Peters and McHenry are committed to ongoing REALTOR®-industry education in order to capably serve the professional needs of their clients. The National Association of REALTORS® is the nation’s largest professional trade association, representing more than 1 million members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry.
