Coeur d’Alene police

Stacy Proctor reported Friday the $300 theft of a rifle from a pickup at her home on the 1500 block of E. Davis Avenue.

Daryl Jacobson reported Friday the $15,510 theft of a wallet, jewelry, paperwork and credit cards from his home on the 2000 block of N. Sixth Place.

Patrick Riley reported Thursday the $385 theft of a GPS unit from his 2005 Ford pickup parked at his home on the 4400 block of N. Mt. Carrol Street.

Kootenai County sheriff

Timothy Penberthy, Post Falls, reported Wednesday that someone shot and killed a bull elk valued at $3,000 at his elk ranch on the 17800 block of W. Bison Trail in Post Falls.

Vivian Swanson, Sandpoint, reported Saturday the $1,100 theft of a laptop computer from her 2002 Ford Windstar parked at Rancho Viejo, 8882 N. Government Way in Hayden.

Sean Morgan, employee of American Mower and Saw, reported Saturday the $1,000 theft of a generator from the business at 9786 N. Government Way in Hayden.

Samantha Moore, Hayden, reported Saturday the $300 theft of stereo equipment from her 1994 Honda parked at her home on the 600 block E. Shiloh Loop.

Mollie Murphy, Coeur d’Alene, reported Saturday the $3,340 theft of a DVD player, CD player, mini refrigerator, home theater system and other household items from a home on the 18000 block of W. Treend Drive.

Shawn Bonnough, Rathdrum, reported Saturday $2,000 damage to steel gates at his home on the 17000 block of N. Freddi Road.
