Quentin may return
CHICAGO – The White Sox hope Carlos Quentin could return from his broken wrist in time for the postseason.
The left fielder had surgery on his right wrist Monday. A screw was inserted into the wrist and Quentin will be re-evaluated in two to three weeks.
“It’s going to take a while,” manager Ozzie Guillen said Tuesday. “Hopefully, if we make the playoffs, we can count on him in the playoffs. Right now, to get to the playoffs, I don’t think he can help out.”
