Pacific Northwest Bonsai Convention - 19th annual event hosted by the Inland Empire Bonsai Society; today through Sunday. Five internationally-known bonsai artists will be conducting classes and demonstrations including Walter Pall, Kathy Shaner, Dennis Makishima, Jerry Meislik and David De Groot. Registration required. Deep Creek-Adler Volunteer Event - Hosted by the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute. The day will consist of erosion control, planting and site maintenance. Discover Moscow Mountain - For adults. Participate in a light half-day hike Saturday around the mountain and learn about different aspects of the mountain through multiple 45-minute sessions.
