Zags lagged vs. UNC

Wait until next year.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs must have had a little jet lag in them March 27 as they couldn’t seem to get out of the starting blocks. North Carolina seemed like it was on a mission. UNC never seemed to slow down from the start.

When you have two hot players like UNC did, it’s hard to stop them. Both players got open. UNC played like a team, too.

I still think our athletes here in Spokane can compete with the best of them throughout the country. To win their division and even make it to the Sweet 16 is quite an accomplishment. My hat’s off to them as Gonzaga University showed it has class and represented Spokane in a professional way.
