Easter celebrations will be held Saturday and Sunday throughout the region. They include:

Washington

Carpenters Local No. 98 Easter Egg Hunt – For ages 1 to 12. More than 8,000 candy-filled eggs and prizes. Saturday, noon, Franklin Park. (509) 990-7100.

Easter Egg Hunt at Harvest House – Wagon rides with the Easter Bunny and Easter egg hunts all day. Saturday and Sunday. 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Beck’s Harvest House in Green Bluff. $5/children – includes wagon ride, 10 eggs filled with candy, ice cream cone and chance to win prizes; $3/adults – includes wagon ride and ice cream cone. Egg Hunt at Riverfront Park – Hosted by KIX 96 radio. For ages 10 and younger. Arrive early at Clocktower for instructions and collection bags. Saturday. Noon. Free.

Good Samaritan Easter Egg Hunt – The free community event is open to children up to age 12. More than 4,000 colored and plastic eggs. Photos with the Easter Bunny are $2 or free with a donation of two nonperishable food items for the Valley Food Bank. Saturday. 12:30 p.m., Good Samaritan Village, 17121 E. 10th annual Community Candy Hunt – 9:30 a.m.-noon at Borah Elementary School, 632 Borah Ave. Family fun includes candy hunt, face-painting, inflatables and barbecue. Sponsored by Coeur d’Alene First Assembly of God. (208) 667-5481.

Ponderay Easter Parade and Egg Hunt – Begins at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, at Birch Street and Fifth Avenue, and will travel three blocks to Second Avenue. Egg hunt at 10 a.m. on the corner of Birch Street and Second Avenue. Prizes will be awarded for best Easter bonnet and best Easter hat. (208) 265-5468.

Easter Bonnet Parade and Egg Hunt – Parade registration starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with parade to begin at 11 a.m. at Perfection Auto Body in Pinehurst. Lunch with the Easter Bunnies and Orange Chick follows at 11:45 a.m. Egg hunt begins at 1 p.m. at the Avista substation in Pinehurst.

Kootenai Fire and Rescue Egg Hunt – Registration for kids age 11 and younger begins at noon for the egg hunt at 1 p.m. Registration is free but required. Sunday. Noon. Q’emiln Park. A raffle will follow. Post Falls. (208) 676-8739.

Community United Methodist Church – Easter Sunday services with handbell choir and trumpet soloist at 8:30 and 11 a.m. and egg hunt at 9:45 a.m. for kids through grade 5. Breakfast follows from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., served by the Acts of Kindness Mission Group and Men’s Fellowship at the church at 1470 W. Hanley Ave., Coeur d’Alene. (208) 765-8800.
