Easter celebrations will be held Saturday and Sunday throughout the region. They include:

Washington

Carpenters Local No. 98 Easter Egg Hunt – For ages 1 to 12. More than 8,000 candy-filled eggs and prizes. Saturday, noon, Franklin Park. (509) 990-7100.

Easter Egg Hunt at Harvest House – Wagon rides with the Easter Bunny and Easter egg hunts all day. Good Samaritan Easter Egg Hunt – The free community event is open to children up to age 12. More than 4,000 colored and plastic eggs. Ponderay Easter Parade and Egg Hunt – Begins at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, at Birch Street and Fifth Avenue, and will travel three blocks to Second Avenue. Easter Bonnet Parade and Egg Hunt – Parade registration starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with parade to begin at 11 a.m. at Perfection Auto Body in Pinehurst. Lunch with the Easter Bunnies and Orange Chick follows at 11:45 a.m. Egg hunt begins at 1 p.m. at the Avista substation in Pinehurst.

Community United Methodist Church – Easter Sunday services with handbell choir and trumpet soloist at 8:30 and 11 a.m. and egg hunt at 9:45 a.m. for kids through grade 5.
