Construction causing detours in Valley

A new construction project in Spokane Valley will cause detours on Broadway Avenue through mid-May. Work began this morning at the intersection of Broadway and Fancher, authorities said. Broadway Avenue is closed in both directions, and Fancher Street has been reduced to one lane in each direction. The project will last until May 15.
