EWU posts scholarships

Eastern Washington University recently awarded local high school seniors with $2,000 Presidential Scholarships for the 2009-2010 academic year. The scholarships were awarded to high school students with cumulative high school grade-point averages of 3.8 or higher or an SAT score of 1250 or higher.

Julie Tribbett is the daughter of Kenneth and Natallia Tribbett, of Mead, and will graduate from Mt. Spokane High School.

Wyatt Volkmann will graduate from Central Valley High School and is the son of Kyle and Debora Volkmann of Spokane Valley.

Alita Judkins will graduate from University High School and is the daughter of Myron and Virginia Judkins of Spokane Valley.

Michael Landkammer will graduate from Rogers High School and is the son of William and Ivy Landkammer of Spokane.

Nathanael Hippauf will graduate from Shadle Park High School and is the son of Mark and Lynette Hippauf of Spokane.

Kelley Kearns will graduate from West Valley High School and is the daughter of William and Christine Kearns of Spokane Valley.

Bryce Parkinson is the son of Brian and Lorie Parkinson of Spokane and will graduate from Cheney High School.

Alisha Kendall will graduate from North Central High School and is the daughter of Ron and Carmen Kendall.

Stevie Gildehaus is the son of Jerred and Brenda Gildehaus of Spokane Valley and will graduate from University High School.

Marina Owings is the daughter of Philip Owings of Vietnam and Takako Owings of Japan. Owings is a Running Start Student at Spokane Falls Community College and a senior at Shadle Park High School.

Valerie Payne is the daughter of Spirit and Veronica Dorris of Otis Orchards and she will graduate from East Valley High School.

Kalah Pratt is the son of Jim and Karen Pratt of Spokane and is a senior at Shadle Park High School.

Amanda Reich is the daughter of Jason and Sarah Reich of Mead and will graduate from Mead High School.

Germaine Lejeune will graduate from Ferris High School and is the daughter of Michael and Andrea Lunsford of Spokane.
