‘At the Movies’ replaces co-hosts

Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz are being replaced as co-hosts of television’s “At the Movies” after detractors dismissed their show as lightweight and too fast-paced.

Starting next month, the long-running movie-review show will pair film critics A.O. (Tony) Scott of the New York Times and Michael Phillips of the Chicago Tribune.

“At the Movies,” originally hosted by Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert, is beginning its 24th season.
