Back to the booby for Hatch

From Wire Reports

Former “Survivor” winner Richard Hatch is back in jail because he granted two TV interviews without permission.

Hatch, 48, had been serving the remainder of his prison term for tax evasion on home confinement at his sister’s home in Rhode Island.

In three television interviews this week – on NBC’s “Today” show, the NBC-owned “Access Hollywood” and a local NBC affiliate – Hatch accused the prosecutor in his case of misconduct and said the judge discriminated against him because he was gay.

His lawyer said he got permission for the “Today” interview and thought that extended to all NBC properties, but the Bureau of Prisons says the other two weren’t covered.

Hatch was convicted in 2006 of failing to pay taxes on the $1 million he received for winning the first season of the CBS reality show. He was given extra prison time for lying on the stand.

His term is set to end Oct. 7.

Wrong for Wright

Actor couple Sean Penn and Robin Wright finally are calling it quits on their 13-year marriage.

Wright has filed for divorce, and they have agreed to share custody of their 16-year-old son.

The Penns have twice before filed for divorce or separation.

Paris is earning less?

Paris Hilton’s movie “Pledge This!” was a colossal flop, but a judge says she won’t have to pay $8 million-plus because of it.

A lawsuit by investors in the film sought that amount, blaming its poor showing on Hilton’s failure to promote it.

Hilton still could have to repay some of the $1 million she was paid to make the movie.
