Come see Down To Earth NW at the North Idaho Fair

The Down to Earth NW team, including some of your favorite bloggers and columnists, can be seen Aug. 26-30 at the North Idaho Fair, located at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds in Coeur d’Alene. Visitors can find out information about our sustainability-oriented site and print projects, upcoming events, and get a variety of handouts about ways you can save energy, conserve resources, think and eat locally and get plugged in to other online resources. In addition, each day we’ll have different guests and featured advertisers. If you’re there each day, stop by to enter to win different prizes. You can also sign up for our mailing list to get regular information and emails about new projects, upcoming events and ways you can get involved. The booth is right inside the main Government Way entrance, and open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. See you there! Highlights include: Wednesday, Aug. 26 – Spokesman-Review Reader Appreciation Day Stop by to win DOMA coffee! From 4-8 p.m., visit the Event Tent in the center of the fairgrounds to see Megan Cooley from DwellWellNW and learn a variety of easy crafts that look great. Thursday, Aug. 27 Back-To-School Representatives from Goodwill will accept any donations of school supplies. Friday, Aug. 28 Meet Down To Earth bloggers Bart Mihailovich and Paul Dillon from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Blue Button Apparel will also have prizes available. Saturday, Aug. 29 – Get crafty! MaryJane Butters from MaryJane’s Farm will be in the booth from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by Dwell Well’s Megan Cooley and writer/columnist Cheryl-Anne Millsap from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30 Get a final dose of the fair, and say hi to DTE blogger Paul Dillon.
