North Idaho College Choirs – Jazz Company – Monday, 7-9 p.m., in Boswell Hall Room 128. Familiarity with jazz vocal style is recommended. Concert Choir – Tuesday, 7-9:30 p.m., in Boswell Hall Room 102. Auditions will consist of singing a simple folk-type melody and various vocal exercises to evaluate musicianship, vocal range and aptitude. Madrigal Singers – Tuesday, 4:30-6:15 p.m., in Boswell Hall Room 102. Auditions will focus on evaluating music reading and learning skills, vocal range and aptitude and ability to blend within a small choral ensemble. North Idaho College, 1000 W. “Measure for Measure” – Tuesday-Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., North Idaho College’s Schuler Performing Arts Center, Boswell Hall, 1000 W. Garden Ave., Coeur d’Alene. Parts available for 16-19 men and five women. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and possibly exercise if time permits. Amy Woodward Fisher World Day of Poetry Contest – Sponsored by Poetry Scribes of Spokane. Seeking original unpublished poems of 60 lines or less.
