Darby Murray had 16 points and went 7 of 12 from the free-throw line in a contest that came down to foul shooting as the Lakeland girls basketball team (2-4, 1-0) beat Moscow (1-6, 0-1) 60-58 on Friday night in Rathdrum.
Shelby Coder added 12 points and Jenna Davis had seven rebounds for the Hawks in the Inland Empire League opener.

Northport 40, Inchelium 33: Shayne Wilson scored 16 points and the Mustangs (1-1) pulled away late to beat the Hornets (0-1) in Inchelium.
Reardan 66, Omak 48: Ali Peone and Kelsey Moose both finished with 17 points and the Indians (1-0) led the entire way to win in Omak.

Kettle Falls 49, Medical Lake 43 (2OT): In a game tight from the outset, the Bulldogs (2-0) pulled away from the Cardinals (0-1) in the second overtime to win in Medical Lake.
St. John-Endicott 79, Wellpinit 42: Kelly Van Lith’s 21 points and 13 rebounds helped propel the Eagles (3-0) to a win over the visiting Redskins (0-2).
