Shock add DB Harmon to roster

The Spokane Shock of Arena Football One announced Tuesday the addition of defensive back Jason Harmon to the roster for the 2010 season.

Harmon spent the 2007-08 seasons with the Colorado Crush of the AFL, tallying 115 tackles and two interceptions. Prior to playing in the AFL, Harmon played for Michigan State, collecting 285 tackles, nine picks and 18 break-ups.

“Jason Harmon has the experience, the athleticism and the hunger that we are looking for,” Shock coach Rob Keefe said.

Three members of Washington State’s team earned Soccer America All-Pacific Region honors.

Seniors Kiersten Dallstream and Carly Dobratz were named to the second team, while goalkeeper Meghan Berlingo was the third-team keeper.

Dallstream led the Cougars in 2009 with 13 goals and seven assists. Her 30 points on the season earned her the third-highest total in WSU history.

Dobratz, a midfielder, had five goals and four assists and finished ranked third on the Cougars’ all-time list in assists.

In net for Washington State, Berlingo tallied 13 wins, including eight shutouts – both tied WSU records – in her first season since transferring from Florida.
