Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Course – For ages 11-15, class helps participants develop skills in leadership, basic care, safe play and first aid. Participants receive a manual, emergency guide, CD-ROM, first aid kit and babysitter’s training certification. Cost is $45 per class. Express Prepared Childbirth – Two-part class gives an overview of childbirth topics. Focuses on progression of labor, breathing techniques, pain management and cesarean birth. Pilates Yoga Blend – For ages 16 and older. Class focuses on improving balance, flexibility, strength and stamina by blending two exercise techniques to double the results. Red Cross Adult/Child CPR/AED plus Infant CPR – Participants learn to care for respiratory or cardiac emergencies for adults, children and infants. Topics include choking, rescue breaths, chest compression and operation of an AED. Participants receive a laminated skills reference card, workbook and CPR/AED certification card valid for one year.
