EASTERN WASHINGTON EAGLES

RECORD: 9-13 overall, 3-7 Big Sky

COMING UP: Today vs. Sacramento State, 7:05 p.m.; Saturday vs. Northern Arizona, 7:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The Eagles’ six-game losing streak has dropped them into eighth place in the conference standings. There might not be a better chance to snap the streak than tonight when last-place Sacramento State visits Reese Court. The Hornets haven’t won on the road this season and lost at home to Eastern earlier this winter. But they are coming off a promising homestand in which they beat Idaho State and almost upset Northern Colorado. They boast one of the conference’s top scorers in senior guard Loren Leath, who is averaging 16.3 points per game.
