‘Coraline’

Based on Neil Gaiman’s novel, this animated film tells the story of a young girl (voice by Dakota Fanning) who discovers a secret door in her home that takes her to an alternate version of her world.

Running time/rating: 1:40; rated PG for thematic elements, scary images, some language and suggestive humor.

What they’re saying: “ ‘Coraline’ … once again makes the case that there’s more artistry and narrative discipline going on in the animation industry than one tends to see in live-action features these days.” – Michael Gingold, Fangoria.com
