KMPO Non-Motorized Plan Advisory Group Kick-off Meeting

Kootenai Metropolitan Planning Organization (KMPO) is holding a formational meeting of a non-motorized advisory group. This group’s objective will be to serve in an advisory capacity to the KMPO, providing recommendations on the planning effort for the development of a county-wide bicycle-pedestrian plan. The meeting is Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Coeur d’Alene Public Library, 720 E. Front Street. This first meeting will comprise of defining roles and responsibilities for the advisory group, discussing the planning process, and preparing for an initial public survey of local bike and pedestrian priorities.
