Churches plan meals for sweethearts
Two Valley churches are planning an elegant meal for sweethearts in honor of Valentine’s Day.
Spokane Valley United Methodist Church will serve up a prime rib Valentine Dinner at 6 p.m. on Sunday at the church, 115 N. Raymond Road. The church youth will serve the meal and the scheduled entertainment is “The Mike King Sing Along.”
The meal is $10 per person. Call 922-8838 for more information.
Zion Lutheran Church will host a Valentine’s Day lunch at noon next Saturday at the church, 8304 E. Buckeye Ave. The meal will be served by the church youth. The menu includes sandwiches, quiche, fruit and baked goods.
The cost is $5 per person or $10 per family. Call the church at 926-5407 for reservations or more information.
