Auditions

“The Sorcerer” – Sunday-Monday, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Pend Orielle Playhouse, 240 N. Union Ave., Newport, Wash. Open to high school through adult actors and vocalists; looking to cast four male and four female leads, multiple minor roles, and chorus and technical support. “Heidi” – Spokane Children’s Theatre is holding auditions March 8, 4-7 p.m., and March 9, 6-9 p.m., to cast seven men, three women, two girls, one boy, and a chorus of 15-20 adults and children. Auditioners should prepare a one-minute song and should dress for movement/dance auditions. Auditions will be held at Spokane Community College’s Lair Building, 1810 N. Idaho Writers League – Coeur d’Alene Chapter – Writers of all genres, teens through seniors, meet to exchange ideas and learn how to improve their craft. Call for artists

Artist Trust’s GAP Project – The state-funded program provides support for individual artists by awarding up to $1,500 for projects, including, but not limited to development, completion or presentation of new work. Applicants must be residents of Washington state, and cannot be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. Applications must be submitted online by 5 p.m. Friday. Chase Gallery All-Media Juried Show – Looking for artists to participate in the All-Media Juried Show, July 7-Aug. 28, at the Chase Gallery, City Hall, 808 W. Art on the Green Poster Contest – Artists invited to enter 2009 contest for annual Art on the Green festival in Coeur d’Alene. Winning poster design will be awarded $600, and used on T-shirts, pins, programs and festival literature. Art should be original work in finished form, but not framed. Include or allow space for the following information: 41st Annual Art on the Green, July 31, August 1 & 2, 2009, On the Grounds of North Idaho College, The Citizens’ Council for the Arts, and the CCA logo. 27th Annual Inland Crafts – Accepting applications for jury. Heritage and original contemporary craft media artists, including photographers, are encouraged to apply. 2009 Moscow Art Walk Brochure – Open to artists who have officially participated in the Art Walk within the last two years.
