Three men arrested on drug charges
Fri., Feb. 20, 2009
Three men were arrested on felony drug charges today following a month-long investigation by Spokane police.
Giorgiy Nart, 19, Joshua County, 20, and Eduard Chumov, 18, were booked into Spokane County Jail for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, said Spokane police Officer Teresa Fuller.
Detectives found a large quantity of cocaine in the home in the 1000 block of North Greenacres Road but refused to specify the amount.
Money and three firearms, including an assault rifle, also were seized, Fuller said.
Investigators went to the Greenacres home about 9 a.m. to search it, Fuller said. The arrests followed the search.
“There is still one outstanding subject that will be charged in this investigation, but his name is not being released at this time,” Fuller said.
