Loss drops CCS into 2nd
Morgan Hyslop had 22 points and 10 rebounds and the Columbia Basin Hawks defeated the Community Colleges of Spokane Sasquatch 74-68 in men’s basketball Saturday at Pasco, knocking Spokane into second place in the NWAACC standings.
The Sasquatch (18-6, 10-3) host first-place Yakima Valley on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Spokane Community College in the teams’ reguar-season finale.
CC Spokane beat Yakima Valley 72-65 on Jan. 17.
North Idaho 96, Colorado Northwestern 60: At Christianson Gym, Shawn Henderson scored 28 points, Demetrius Davis had 15 and Renado Parker had 10 and the Cardinals (25-3, 10-3) crushed the Spartans (0-13, 0-13) in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Guy-Marc Michel had eight rebounds and Lateef Williams and Melvin Jones had four assists apiece for North Idaho.
