Mallahan-Moerschell
Alison Moerschell and Jonathan Mallahan, both of Spokane, plan to marry June 20 in Spokane.
A graduate of Gonzaga University, the bride-to-be works as an account executive at Rockey Hill & Knowlton. The groom-to-be is also a graduate of GU, and is the director of Neighborhood Services and Code Enforcement for the city of Spokane.
Irby-Como
Tiera Como and Cody Irby, both of Spokane Valley, plan to marry July 8.
Dave and Debbie Como, Airway Heights, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Steve and Kenda Irby, Otis Orchards.
Como, a graduate of Eastern Washington University, is a math teacher at University High School. Also a graduate of EWU, Irby is employed at Costco in Spokane Valley.
Johnson-Kassebaum
Roseann Kassebaum of Monterey, Calif., and Jeremy Johnson, of Pacific Grove, Calif., plan to marry this in Portland.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Dawn Kassebaum, Oregon City, Ore. Douglas and Rebecca Johnson, Spokane, are the parents of the groom-to-be.
A graduate of Willamete University, Kassebaum is a graduate student at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Johnson, who also graduated from Willamette University, is an elementary school teacher and high school coach.
Larsen-Gosseck
Jill Gosseck and John Larsen, both of Spokane, plan to marry Aug. 28, 2010.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nancy and Bob Keown, Madison, Wis., and Mark and Debra Gosseck, New Berlin, Wis. Chris and Phyllis Larsen, Spokane, are the parents of the groom-to-be.
A student at Spokane Community College, Gosseck is employed at Sacred Heart Medical Center. Larsen is a graduate of Eastern Washington University.
Overstreet Laney -
Day-Bazhaw
Nicole Day-Bazhaw and Tyler Overstreet Laney, both of Seattle, plan to marry June 7.
Vicki Day, Bellingham, and Jack Bazhaw, Mount Vernon, Wash., are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Sandi and Steve Laney, Spokane.
Day-Bazhaw graduated from the University of Washington and is a student at the UW School of Medicine. Also a graduate of UW, Overstreet Laney works as a pediatric mental health specialist at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Bascetta-Taylor
Sara Taylor and Dave Bascetta, both of Spokane Valley, plan to marry June 13 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
William and Karen Taylor, Spokane Valley, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Jim and Marcia Bascetta, Spokane.
Taylor graduated from Eisenhower High School in Yakima and works at Washington State Employees Credit Union. A graduate of Lewis and Clark High School, Bascetta works for Spokane Public Schools.
