RECORD: 9-11 overall, 3-5 Big Sky Conference
COMING UP: Tonight at Montana State, 6:05; Saturday at Montana, 6:05 p.m.
OUTLOOK: The Eagles, losers of four straight and nine of their last 12, head into the second half of their Big Sky schedule in need of a confidence transfusion. First up on their annual swing through Montana is Montana State, a team they beat 61-55 in Cheney on Dec. 6. Eastern outworked the Bobcats in their first meeting and will need that same kind of effort – especially on the boards – if it hopes to end its current skid. It gets even more demanding on Saturday when the Eagles travel to Missoula to take on a Montana team that dominated them at Reese Court eight days ago.
