Moving on to the next batch

When “The Bachelor” winner Melissa Rycroft got jilted for the runner-up, she returned the engagement ring – and walked off the set.

That was so five months ago. Now, Rycroft has another sparkler – and a new fiance, Tye Strickland, to go with it.

Her spokeswoman, Susan Madore, says Strickland is a 28-year-old insurance agent and has been dating Rycroft on and off for 2 1/2 years.

According to Madore, he proposed privately Friday night and then the couple celebrated with both sets of parents over dinner.

After Rycroft’s run on ABC’s “The Bachelor,” the 26-year-old former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader appeared on “Dancing With the Stars.”

Drea gets ‘Desperate’

Drea de Matteo is moving to Wisteria Lane.

A publicist for ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” confirmed that the former “Sopranos” star will join the cast for the sixth season. She reportedly will portray an Italian woman whose husband is a landscape designer.

De Matteo recently got engaged to country singer Shooter Jennings, with whom she has an 18-month-old daughter, Alabama.

Raymond got dumped?

The wife of R&B singer Usher says she was surprised when he filed for divorce earlier this month and claims the two were intimate less than a week beforehand.

Disputing Usher’s claims the couple have been separated since July 2008, Tameka Raymond says in court documents that she “had every reason to believe her marriage was intact.”
