Watch for advice from local physician

You’ll see some changes in the Today section starting this week.

Every other Tuesday, Dr. Alisa Hideg, a family medicine physician with Group Health’s Veradale Medical Center, will write a column explaining to readers what they can do to improve their health and fitness. Look for it beginning next week.

Among the other additions:

•A daily TV highlights column, Kevin McDonough’s “Tune in Tonight,” returns to our daily television listings page.

•We’ve added a column on activities parents can do with children to the Monday Families page.

•We’ll round up restaurant news in a monthly column in Wednesday’s Food section.

•Features writer Rebecca Nappi is launching a monthly series called “Wise Words in Troubled Times,” drawing on the thoughts of local sages.

•Rejoice, Jumble fans – the puzzle will run larger on page C2.

Meanwhile, we’re still tinkering with crosswords and comics; for more on that, see the note under the top crossword puzzle on C2.
