Christian Youth Theater-Spokane Summer Camps – Registration is open for theater training camps for youth ages 5-18, beginning Monday. Camp themes include High School Musical, Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Little Mermaid and Snoopy. Held in Spokane Valley and North Spokane. Cost is $150. Also offering a five-day drama intensive camp for teens for $160, and a four-night/five-day overnight camp for teens at North Idaho College for $425. Design Summer Bouquet Class – For ages 18 and older. Each student will take home a Dutch-style hand-tied spring bouquet; class includes tips on picking, conditioning and arranging local flowers. The Spokane Novelists Group – Writers support/critique group, open to anyone with an interest in writing fiction. Bike Rack and Bench Design Competition – Spokane Arts Commission is seeking artists to design bike racks and benches for neighborhoods throughout Spokane.
