Amber Doyle knows how to look at her glass half-full. When extreme allergies to skin care and beauty products led her to open her all-natural/organic spa, Pure Beauty, she said she “almost felt lucky” to have been afflicted as it led her to find her path in life. Now having completed the third move of her business to a new location within just eight months of opening due to various circumstances, although she admittedly suffered a little bit of the “why me’s” at first, she says she realizes now that it all happened for a reason. “I love that I can once again pick my kids up from school and make my family dinner, all the while maintaining my business,” says Amber. “Running Pure Beauty out of my home enables me to focus on the strengths of my business without the overhead or the long hours away.” The move of Pure Beauty to Amber’s home has necessitated the operational change to “by appointment only” as well as prompted her to streamline her product lines, keeping only those that are her and her customers’ favorites, such as John Masters Organic, Nature’s Paradise Organic, and Klean Kanteens among others. This means great savings of up to 35 percent on her discontinued products such as Earth Mama Angel Baby and Mychelle. And due to overstock, she’s offering up to 50% off on her Nvey -Eco Bio-Organic products, such as lipsticks, lip gloss, mascara, and bronzer. A new addition to her stock is the clothing line, Kikapaprika—stylish but comfortable pieces made in the U.S.A. from organic cotton and recycled plastic. In addition to one-on-one consultations, Amber is booking home parties featuring all of her products. She is also still doing monthly events at her home—the first will be an open house on Tuesday, June 30, 6-8 p.m.
