Sorrells-Maas

Elizabeth Maas, Satellite Beach, Fla., and Barty Sorrells, Alexandria, Va., plan to marry May 2. The bride-to-be is a former resident of Spokane.

She is the daughter of Milt and Linda Maas, Spokane. The groom-to-be is the son of Naomi Sorrells, Charleston, Tenn., and the late Harold Sorrells.

A graduate of Arizona State University, Maas is a captain in the United States Air Force stationed at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. Sorrells is a graduate of Excelsior College, and is a Department of Defense civilian in Washington D.C.

Petrin-Grogan

Katie Grogan, Seattle, and Alex Petrin, Bremerton, plan to marry July 17 in Spokane.

Terry and Irma Grogan, Ellensburg, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Joe and Janice Petrin, Spokane.

Grogan, a graduate of Washington State University, is a first-year medical student at the University of Washington. Also a graduate of WSU, Petrin is a naval architect at Puget Sound Naval Base.

Berg-Mildenberger

Melissa Mildenberger and Ryan Berg, both of Spokane, plan to marry Aug. 7.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Brad and Becky Mildenberger, Hamilton, Mont. Brad and Molly Berg, Spokane, are parents of the groom-to-be.

A graduate of Carroll College, Mildenberger is a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Medical Center. Berg, who also graduated from Carroll College, is a civil engineer at Varela and Associates Inc.
