Wedding vows were exchanged by Stacie Sweeney and Christopher James in an Aug. 30 ceremony at Bear Creek Lodge in Mount Spokane State Park.

Jerry and Christine Sweeney, Clayton, are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Donald and Lorrie James, Deer Park.

A reception at the wedding site followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Spokane and planned a Las Vegas honeymoon at a later date.

The bride is employed at Fairchild Air Force Base. The groom, a student at Eastern Washington University, is also employed at Fairchild Air Force Base.
