Really low double standards?

Lambert
From Wire Reports

Adam Lambert admits he got carried away with his American Music Awards performance, but he’s offering no apologies

“I do see how people got offended, and that was not my intention,” he said Wednesday on “The Early Show.”

“My intention was to interpret the lyrics of my song and have a good time with it.”

Asked what he’d do differently if he had the chance, he replied: “I would sing it a little bit better.”

Lambert kissed a male keyboard player, dragged a female dancer around by the ankles and had a dancer simulate oral sex on him while performing his new single, “For Your Entertainment.”

He admitted he didn’t do some of the more risque elements of the routine during rehearsals, a point that particularly upset “AMA” broadcaster ABC.

But he noted that Lady Gaga smashed whiskey bottles, Eminem rapped about rape and Janet Jackson briefly groped a male dancer.

“I haven’t heard one peep about that,” Lambert said, adding: “I think it’s because I’m a gay male.”

Hey, he’s no Adam

An estimated 19.2 million people watched Donny Osmond’s win Tuesday on “Dancing With the Stars” – the smallest audience for the show’s finale since the first season.

Osmond outstepped singer Mya and Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly.

The original Adam?

Little Richard is asking fans to pray for his speedy recovery after undergoing hip surgery.

A spokesman said the 76-year-old singer wants fans “to get ready to rock ’n’ roll with him in the new year because he’s coming back strong.”
