New faces

Red and Associates has hired Lynda Hayashi as team leader for Mediation and Team Building Services. She has more than 30 years experience as an educator and holds degrees in psychology, literature and administration.

Dr. Robert Gilbert has been hired by Kootenai Medical Center in the practice of neurology. He is a graduate of the University if Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his internship, residency and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Cornerstone Property Advisors has hired Amanda Swan as marketing coordinator for the company’s commercial real estate team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and studio art from Eastern Washington University and previously worked as an editorial intern for Practical Horseman magazine in Washington, D.C.

Kim Eickerman has been hired as Spokane branch manager for Modern Machinery. He has more than 20 years of industrial management experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern Washington University. He previously worked for Pierce Pacific Corp of Portland as general sales manager.

Gallatin Public Affairs has hired Jared Webley as an associate for the firm’s Spokane office. He previously worked as campaign director for U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ re-election campaign in Spokane. He holds a bachelor’s degree in government with a minor in communications from Eastern Washington University.

Colin Conway has earned a Certified Shopping Center Manager designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers. Conway works as a commercial real estate agent and property manager for NAI Black in Spokane.

The following individuals were recognized by the Spokane Pharmacy Association: Joy Anyan of Holy Family Anticoagulation Clinic as Pharmacist of the Year; Charleen Daniel of Sixth Avenue Medical Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician of the Year; Sixth Avenue Medical Pharmacy as Pharmacy of the Year; Brandy Singer of First Avenue Pharmacy as Pharmacy Speaker of the Year; Bruce Howard of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals as Representative of the Year; and Trisha Tom of Deaconess Medical Center as Pharmacy Resident of the Year.

Peter Elliott was selected to attend the Northwestern Mutual Forum in recognition of his outstanding performance as a financial representative. Elliot works as a representative for trhe Hubbell Financial Group in Spokane.

Gifts

The North Idaho College Adult Basic Education Center received more than $485 from Hastings Books, Music, Video and Video Games store on Best Avenue in Coeur d’Alene. The funds will go toward scholarships to cover the cost of General Education Development testing for students in need of financial assistance and to support the center’s low-level reading curriculum.
