Zags can mix it up

Wow, what a basketball game (GU vs. Cincinnati on Nov. 25). There should have been some football calls made. Holding, unnecessary roughness…

The boys from Gonzaga showed they can push and shove right back. Good defense on both sides in a way, or was it fear really to go inside?

People who think basketball isn’t a rough sport never really played. The Bulldogs had all the muscle used against them and showed they had some, too, in this game.

Gonzaga coach Mark Few could only watch, and probably thought to himself, “I will be glad when this game is over and no one gets hurt.”

I am happy for the win for these guys and hope this will be the season they can go to the top. Keep it up, guys.
