Pac-10 picks
Finally, a good week. If only Washington’s defense had held Arizona State to a field goal, it would have been perfect.
Of course, there’s a simple reason for our success. Neither Oregon school played.
More than likely, our luck runs out this week.
As always, the listed line is for your entertainment purposes only.
UCLA at Arizona (UA by 71/2): The Bruins are struggling on both sides of the ball. Arizona is only struggling on one. In this case, one beats two. Arizona 34-17.
Oregon at Washington (UO by 10): This is the best interstate rivalry in the Pac-10. Rivalry games are usually close. Not this one. The Ducks are just too fast. Oregon 35-21.
Oregon State at USC (USC by 21): Will USC win? Sure. The Trojans are better. Are they 21 points better? No way. USC 24-14.
Arizona State at Stanford (Stanford by 61/2): The Cardinal’s season is on the edge of a meltdown. The Sun Devils’ is about to get a lot tougher, starting here. Stanford 28-21.
Washington State at California (Cal by 35): The Bears believe they got back on track with last week’s rout of UCLA. They did. It was just a few weeks too late. Cal 49-10.
Last week: 4-0 overall, 3-1 vs. spread. Season: 30-15 overall, 17-23 vs. spread.
