Collision incorrectly described
A southbound truck driven Monday by Danny R. Cable, 43, of Otis Orchards, was hit in the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 395 by a northbound vehicle driven by Christopher T. Birr, of Spokane, who police say crossed the centerline. Because of a reporting error, a story in The Spokesman-Review on Tuesday gave an incorrect account of the collision.
Quarterback’s name wrong
Travis Ward is Mt. Spokane High School’s returning starting quarterback who threw for the second-most yards in the Greater Spokane League last year. Due to a reporter’s error, his name was incorrect in Tuesday’s story.
