Will CBS be minus one man?

Charlie Sheen is looking at a future without “Two and a Half Men.”
According to a person close to the actor, Sheen, 44, has told friends that he wants to leave the hit CBS comedy in which he’s starred for seven years and focus on movies instead.
The actor is grappling with legal problems arising from a Christmas Day fight with his wife in Aspen, Colo. He is charged with assault, criminal mischief and menacing, which carries a possible sentence of one to three years in prison.
Sheen pleaded not guilty last month and faces trial in July.
He entered a rehab facility for undisclosed treatment in February, temporarily forcing “Two and a Half Men” to halt production.
The show, which also stars Jon Cryer, is the top-rated comedy on TV and a key part of CBS’ Monday night lineup. Sheen’s contract is up at the end of this season.
He’s in the upcoming film “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,” a sequel to 1987’s “Wall Street,” in which he starred.
Out of ‘Order’
S. Epatha Merkerson, the senior member of the “Law & Order” cast, is leaving after the show’s current 20th season.
Merkerson, who joined the NBC drama in 1993 as Police Lt. Anita Van Buren, has decided to exit after 16 years, according to a person close to the show.
Van Buren’s story line has taken a personal turn as she battles cancer, which may figure into Merkerson’s departure.
“However they decide to take her out, it’ll be worthy of the character,” Merkerson told Entertainment Weekly.
