Spokane Valley contract manufacturer Key Tronic Corp. on Tuesday reported fiscal third quarter earnings of $4.4 million, or 43 cents per share, up sharply from $300,000 and 3 cents per share in the same quarter of 2009.
Total sales for the quarter were $51.7 million, up 17 percent from $44.2 million a year earlier.
The company provides design and manufacturing services for a range of major companies.
The quarterly gains came from diversification of contracts, including new deals with specialty printers, motion warning systems and video communication equipment, said Craig Gates, company CEO.
