St. Maries, Priest River split games

Ryan Kennelly scored two goals and led host St. Maries to a 3-0 Intermountain League victory over Priest River on Wednesday. The Lumberjacks dominated the match, outshooting the Spartans 24-3.

Two Sandpoint players came up with hat tricks in an 11-1 non-league match between Inland Empire 5A and 4A programs. Tanner Williams had three goals and two assists and Shane Stanley three goals and one assist for the Bulldogs.

• In girls soccer, Holly Hirst recorded a hat trick, scoring all three of her goals in the second half, as Priest River broke away in the second half for a 4-1 IML victory at St. Maries. The match was tied 1-1 at the half. Both teams took 13 shots.
